Country house once owned by Led Zeppelin reveals exciting 2016 programme
Featuring an array of talent and styles, a packed summer of events will kick off with the upbeat George Gershwin and finish with the Tudor tunes of Orlando Gibbons.
Big names include international master pianist Adolfo Barabino, with fresh talent from the award-winning young keyboardist Alexandra Kremakova.

Hide AdTickets to this venue cost £15. They can be purchased during the interval and include refreshments after the concert.
Children get in for free and parents who bring children can enter for half-price. Each recital follows a tour of the house.

Saturday, June 11, 4pm: Jong-Gyung Park (piano) and Antony Zerpa-Falcon (piano), playing Britten, Beethoven, Schubert and Gershwin.
Saturday, July 16, 7.30pm: Beatrice Harrison 50th Anniversary Memorial Concert. Adrian Bradbury (cello) and Oliver Davies (piano), playing Beethoven, Delius, Ireland, and traditional English folk song arrangements.

Hide AdSaturday, August 6, 4pm: Adolfo Barabino (piano), playing Chopin and Franck.
Monday, August 29, 4pm: Alexandra Kremakova (harpsichord/piano), playing early music including Bach, Gibbons, Couperin, Forqueray, Duphly, and Balbastre.
Saturday, September 10, 4pm: The Reed Organ Society’s Harmonium UK conference will include a concert of reed organ music.
Organisers David and Anne-Noelle Pinnegar said: “It’s been 33 years since we first held concerts at Hammerwood, but this year looks to be one of our most exciting yet.”

Hide AdThey continued: “We’re especially delighted that Adolfo Barabino has found time to come back to Hammerwood this year – even if his taste in music might, just possibly, be a little different from Led Zep’s erstwhile frontmen Robert Plant and Jimmy Page.
“If you can’t make our concerts, Hammerwood Park is open to visitors at 2pm every Wednesday and Saturday from June 1 to the end of September.”
