Hide AdEnsemble Reza was set up in 2013 and has had a very successful first year performing across the south-east to enthusiastic audiences and providing a varied programme of events including evening and lunchtime concerts, family concerts and a range of education projects in schools.
Hannah explained: “The group brings together a wealth of talent with players representing some of this country’s finest orchestras and led by Miriam Teppich (who has played as guest principal with the London Mozart Players, the London Philharmonic and the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra).
“The name Reza is taken from the Greek word roots and was suggested by the group’s half Greek cellist and music director Pavlos Carvalho. With growing family commitments, the group are keen to perform nearer to home and feel a strong commitment to taking outstanding music to local audiences.”
