BLOG fundraising with The Mikado
Andrew, a well respected musician and performer in his own right, has been busy coaching and encouraging local amateur talent over recent weeks; and knowing that musical theatre is an expensive venture for amateur groups has worked tirelessly to keep within the societies musical budget without compromising the performance sound.
The group has been inspired by him and his work to use the show as a way to raise funds for Duchenne’s Muscular Dystrophy.

‘The Mikado’ began last night and runs until Saturday November 14 with a matinee tomorrow afternoon. Tickets from £5-£12 and each sold means a contribution to Muscular Dystrophy UK. Tickets can be purchased from www.battlelightoperagroup.org.uk, calling 01424 211140 or in person at ‘Fancy Pants’ in Battle.
