The Co-op in North Road welcomed customers again on Thursday, November 19. A company spokesman said the near 7,200 sq ft store – which supports 37 local jobs – runs on 100 per cent renewable electricity and includes Amazon lockers, hot food, a photo booth, rug doctor and Costa Coffee Express.
The store now also offers online click and collect through Co-op’s online shop and has new self-scan check-outs. Contactless card payment limits have been increased to £45.

Store manager Ferhat Spurling said: “We are delighted to have had the opportunity to make such a significant investment in our Lancing store – we have received a great response.
“We have undertaken an extensive programme of works to develop the range, choice, products and services locally that will create a really compelling offer in the community.”
