Rustington pupils swap uniforms for jogging bottoms to help charities

Schoolchildren in Rustington pushed themselves to the limit doing their bit to support the RNLI and Chestnut Tree House children’s hospice.

Around 60 pupils from Georgian Gardens Primary School took part in an afternoon of running inside their school’s hall, in Guildford Road, raising £500 for Littlehampton’s RNLI lifeboat station and a further £100 for the Poling-based children’s hospice.

And on Thursday (October 18), the youngsters handed over the £500 to a welcoming team of RNLI volunteers, during a class outing to the lifeboat station, in Fisherman’s Quay.
