Horsham charity trustee raises more than £1,000 through sponsored litter pick

Caroline Instance, trustee of Age UK Horsham District, joined the 2.6 challenge with a plan of doing a 2.6 mile litter pick along the B2136 towards Thakeham, collecting 26 pieces of rubbish.
But that morning she collected three sackfuls and some larger pieces, raising more than £1,000 for the charity.

Hide AdCaroline is now urging other residents to pick up rubbish they spot in a bid to keep the countryside clean and tidy.
She also joined the Age UK overdress campaign, joining the board meeting sat at her husband’s piano.
