Hide AdA spokeswoman from Angmering explained this is a start of a scheme which will more than likely be added to during the coming years.
She said: “We envisage this to be a place for students to find peace and quiet in what is usually a busy environment.”
Tomorrow’s aim is to create the foundations for a path with wheelchair access and begin initial work on a floral sensory garden in the afternoon.
People do not need to confirm they are coming along, they just need to bring a shovel, spade, wheelbarrow or good spirit.
Those attending should bring a packed lunch. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be supplied.
Parking is available in the school’s car park, off Station Road.
