Victorian country home
The Victorian country house has elegantly proportioned rooms with character features.
It is private and secluded, set in 18.5 acres of parkland, offering uninterrupted rural views. It includes an oak barn style carport and an attached self-contained annexe.

The Harts, who had lived in a Victorian house in London, loved the elegance of the architecture, with its high ceilings and sash windows.
Mrs Hart said: “It is thought the property might have been built by one of the owners of nearby Victorian brickworks and that there was a parapet upon which he would stand to bark orders out to his workers!”
“We made a few changes after moving in. We removed the wall between the kitchen and the library to make one large space. This is now a room to cook in, sit down in and chat in, a real family room where we spend most of our time.”

The self-contained annexe features an additional bedroom and two reception rooms (although this could be rearranged).
“There is very flexible accommodation here,” Mrs Hart said. “At one time we were thinking about making the annexe into an art room as there is glass in the roof. If we had stayed we might also have converted one of the rooms into a cinema room.”
