‘Elvis’ is in the school building... almost
Horsham-based band, The Embers, have been approached by the Friends of Storrington School (FOSS) to help celebrate the schoo-s recent outstanding Ofsted result, and help raise funds for the school.
“When we were contacted by FOSS to celebrate the school’s achievement, we decided we would put together something rather special.” Andrew Gambling from The Embers explains. “Anthony, who fronts The Embers, has been performing solo as Almost Elvis for many years so we thought we would take this opportunity to transform The Embers into The Almost Elvis Band for the night.

“While covering all the hits, the band thought people would also like to hear Elvis sing a few songs that he never got the chance to interpret.
“We start the evening in Vegas, but when we are back in black in the second half, there is a song that automatically comes to mind!
“It’s going to be great night out, and we encourage everyone in Storrington and beyond to dust off their blue suede shoes and come along.”
