A DAY IN THE PARK
Lewes District Council has organised a spectacular fun day with activities to cater for everyone in the community.
Cllr Elizabeth Lee, district council Lead Member for the Community, said: "Park Life will be an event- packed day where local people will be able to see what the Council is doing for them and to meet representatives of different departments.

Hide Ad"Officers will be on hand to talk about the services they provide to our local communities. There will also be competitions, workshops, live music, good food and lots more. I would like to invite everyone to come along between 11.00 and 9.00pm to enjoy a great day out as well as seeing a firework display at 9.00pm".

Race a solar car
Have your dog microchipped. The Dogs Trust will be present and will offer a special promotion: owners will be able to have their dogs microchipped for only 9.50. Microchipping will be free for OAPs and people on receipt of benefits. Free gifts will be available
Willow weaving, face painting, kite and bird box making
Croquet and hula hoops
Percussion workshops
Frisbee and skateboarding
Live music from local bands
Games and competitions and lots more!
