Ouse Valley also received a silver award for Caribbean Lime Marmalade and a bronze award for its Cowdray Breakfast Marmalade.
Julian Warrender, founder and creative chef of Ouse Valley, said: “My team are used to my Monday morning new ideas. This time I came up with a simple and complementary combination. As much as possible, our produce comes from local growers and it is wonderful to be using a celebrated local producer.”
Adam Bagnall of Harveys added: “After a number of taste tests, the Wild Hop proved to be the perfect beer for the job, adding to this marmalade’s delicious bitter sweet style. A harmonious pairing of two celebrated Sussex producers.”
