Bexhill man hospitalised after A21 crash

The 29-year-old was driving north in a silver Vauxhall Astra van when it crashed with a red Vauxhall Mokka car coming the other way in Whatlington at around 7pm.
South East Coast Ambulance Service took him to the Conquest Hospital with hip and back pain as well as the Mokka driver, a 50-year-old Chelmsford man, who suffered serious leg and pelvic injuries.

Hide AdA passenger in the Mokka, a 35-year-old London man, was trapped in the car after it flipped, both mechanically and medically, near Riccards Lane.
He was rescued by East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service and sustained minor injuries.
South East Coast Ambulance Service sent three response cars and two ambulances to the scene.
The road was closed in both directions following the crash but it reopened three hours later.
