Senior auction valuer Emma Attrell said: “There was strong bidding for the chalet at this well-known and popular holiday park.
“Bidders were no doubt attracted by its potential as a good investment or as a holiday home with a wide range of facilities on site, including heated pools, sports halls, an adventure playground and evening entertainment.”
The chalet was sold with the remainder of a 50-year lease from 2014.

Situated in a semi-rural location at the end of a cul-de-sac, 6 Oak Hill Cottages, off Peasmarsh Road, fetched £215,000 – nearly double its freehold guide of £120,000 to £125,000.
“Bidders could see the potential of the property with modernisation as well as the opportunity for expansion or redevelopment subject to the necessary consents,” Ms Attrell said.
The bungalow was offered jointly with Weald Property.
