Big breakfast - it's Sussex-style
The aim of the initiative is to promote local food and drink and attract more visitors to the county. Eggs, bacon, sausages, milk and juice were among the delights served, most of the produce never having left Sussex.
Kevin Boorman, of 1066 Country Marketing, said: "We are trying to attract high-quality spending visitors to Hastings and 1066 country and know the people we are targeting are attracted to good local food. It helps local food producers and local business economy, and it's good for the environment because it clocks up less food miles."
