Bognor recycling service to include glass bottles and jars
An extended service from April 6 means the household blue-top recycling bin is about to be used for much more recycling at home.
As well as glass, paper-based food and drink cartons, such as Tetra Pak, aluminium containers and foil and aerosol cans can also be put in the bins.

Cllr Paul Wotherspoon, Arun's environment supremo, said: "This is great news for everyone in Arun and we want all residents to be ready to include the additional items in their recycling from April 6.
"Arun residents are already some of the best in the county at recycling, and now these exciting improvements mean we will be sending even less waste to landfill sites.
"In 2007/08, residents recycled and composted around 35 per cent of their waste, but we can still do better.

The changes are possible because Arun will be using the new materials recycling facility at Ford.
The new sorting technology at the facility can separate glass and other mixed recyclables and sort them by type.
Cardboard, paper, plastic bottles and aluminium and steel cans can continue to be placed in the bins.
