Bomb disposal squad called to Middleton beach

They were alerted at 9.20am today (December 3) and a spokeswoman from the force said an explosive ordnance disposal team were on the way from Portsmouth.
Update
The device was taken away at 11.45pm. Bognor Police tweeted a picture of the van taking away the device.
