Book lovers take abreak at the library
The library has become the first in area to host monthly Book Break sessions.
They take place from 10.30am-11.30am on the first Thursday of each month at the Pryors Lane facility.
About six keen readers have enjoyed the first two meetings.

Ron Edwards, 77, of Pagham, has been to both Book Breaks.
“I like to get other peoples’ views about books. They will know about books that I have not read,” he said.
Those who attend are tempted with an array of new books to discuss and borrow amid the tea and biscuits. The meetings are led by community library volunteer Frances Coulson.
Community librarian Felicity Masters said: “We wanted to give people a chance to talk to us and others about what they like to read.
“The self-service machines mean we have lost a bit of contact.”
