Brace yourselves for three months of roadworks in Heathfield
Following a consultation last year, East Sussex Highways will be introducing the measures along the lengths of Ghyll Road and Sheepsetting Lane.
This will include the installation of speed humps, the construction of a raised section of road at the junction with Ghyll Road and Geers Wood and the raising of the existing crossing point located near the junction with Treetops Way.

Hide AdIn addition, engineers will be surfacing a section of road from Swaines Way to Hailsham Road, repairing sections of kerbs and installing new street lighting.
From Monday, December 3, until Friday, December 21, there will be temporary, multi-way traffic lights in place. These will be manually operated during peak times.
These lights will be removed over the Christmas period and at weekends.
From Wednesday, January 2, next year until Sunday, January 27, the temporary traffic light will be reinstalled.
From Monday, January 28, until Friday, February 22, there will be road closures in Ghyll Road and Sheepsetting Lane. There will be diversions in place and signs on site to give further details.
