BREAKING NEWS: Police name man who died in Worthing crash

Mr Frost, of Chiltern Crescent, died following the collision on Offington Avenue near the junction with Warren Gardens.
Police were called just before 1am to a van that had left the road and crashed into a tree.

Hide AdSergeant Rob Baldwin said: “We are continuing to piece together what happened as we investigate this collision where one man sadly died.”
The tragedy has prompted an outpouring of sympathy over Facebook and in public.
By the crash site, dozens of floral tributes, left to the man known as Sam, adorn the stump of the tree.
Likewise, there was just as many kind words on the Herald’s Facebook page, with many saying they were shocked by the news.

Hide AdJodie Stephen-Taylor Stevenson wrote: “Rest in perfect peace Sam another one gone so young xxx.”
Donna Mack described the 27-year-old as ‘a lovely bloke’, saying: “Still in shock, doesn’t seem real. Thoughts are with his family and girlfriend. A lovely bloke taken too soon, such sad news. RIP Sam xx.”
Another person, commenting on the Herald’s website, said: “Sam, you were and still will be one of the best guys I’ve known.
“Our hearts are with the families affected by your passing. Rest in peace Sam, loved by all who knew him.”

Hide AdA 31-year-old man from Worthing remains on police bail until July 3 having been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving.
Three other men that were initially released on bail are no longer being considered as suspects and are now being treated as significant witnesses in the investigation.
However, police are still keen for any other witnesses, or those with information about the crash, to contact them by emailing [email protected] calling 101 on Op Tolworth.
