Brighton Gin celebrates Pride with limited edition bottles
Brighton Gin has once again produced a special batch to celebrate Pride, and has created 1,400 limited edition bottles in eight colour and letter variations.
Collectively, the eight-bottle range spells the world BRIGHTON, and the pink, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet labels reflect the original colours of the Gay Pride Rainbow Flag.

Brighton Gin said £2 from each bottle will be donated to The Rainbow Fund, the Brighton and Hove based grant-giving fund for local LGBTQ+ and HIV/AIDS organisations.
Founder, distiller and Out In Brighton presenter Kathy Caton said: “Set to be bolder, more beautiful and brilliant than ever, we’re so proud that we host the UK’s biggest Pride Festival in our free-thinking, campaigning (and hedonistic!) home city. We want to celebrate that ultimate spirit of Brighton and contribute again to the essential work of the Rainbow Fund in supporting the city’s LGBTQ+ community and voluntary sector.”
Brighton Gin was founded in 2014, and is handmade in small batches in the city’s first distillery in Portslade. Each bottle is made from recycled glass sourced from Brighton, and is filled, labelled and wax-sealed by hand, with the label and wax in the distinctive blue colour of Brighton’s seafront railings.

The eight different labels align with the original meanings of the Gay Pride flag colours - reflecting the values of sexuality, life, healing, sun, nature, art, harmony and spirit.
For the first time the Brighton Gin team will be walking with the Brighton Pride Parade which leaves Hove Lawns at 11am on Saturday, August 4, ending at Preston Park where the Colour My World festival is headlined by legendary pop icon Britney Spears.
