Burgess Hill manufacturer’s cleaning products used to battle coronavirus
Managing director Angela Gill said as organisations looking to improve their cleaning procedures turned to them in March, business boomed and sales records were shattered.
But with raw materials harder and more expensive to come by, the company has faced challenges, and demand for cleaning chemicals fell in April with offices and schools closing, and other troubled businesses seeking longer payment terms.

Hide AdHalf of its workforce has recently been furloughed due to the drop in demand.
Angela said: “There’s no doubt these are unprecedented times.
“Our hearts go out to the businesses that have been brought to their knees.
“We’re fortunate enough to know that demand will return when lockdown lifts.
“sWe’re also incredibly proud to be British manufacturers, which will become even more important in the next few months as the global demand for cleaning chemicals surges.”
