Cadets bag-packing success
Over a period of 16 hours bag-packing they raised 1,700.
Flight Lieutenant Andy Izzard, Officer Commanding 2262 Squadron, said that the idea of the local bag-pack was not only to raise money towards training equipment but also to raise awareness of the Air Cadets themselves.
He said: "We have had some really good feedback from the customers of the store and I hope that we will get some new recruits - both cadets and adult staff. Tesco store manager Emily Knowler made sure the cadets were treated really well during their stint there."
