Car stranded astide races in
Rye Harbour Lifeboat launched to go to the aid of a car stuck in the mud and flooded by the incoming tide.
The drama unfolded on Tuesday at 1.30pm when the couple in the car became stuck and waved to raise the alarm.
Steve Tollett, from the lifeboat, said: “The passengers of the vehicle were extremely distressed and shaken.
