The tree was dug into their grounds on Elm Grove as part of an initiative to create greener communities.
It was donated by the Chichester branch of Cartridge World.

Hide AdShop manager Samantha Oerlemans pledged to plant a tree for every 25 refilled or remade computer printer cartridges it sold during last year's national tree week.
That campaign prevented 225 cartridges going to landfill and the first organisations have begun to benefit.
A tree to go towards Hotham Park's contribution to Bognor in Bloom has also been handed over by Ms Oerlemans.
She said: "Our customers benefit every day when they come into the store and save themselves some money through using refilled cartridges.
