Contact centre's longest-serving member of staff retires
She was the longest-serving member of staff in Adur and Worthing councils' contact centre.
Olive, who lives in Durrington, was presented with gifts and flowers at the start of her last shift.
She said: "I have loved every minute of working here.

Hide Ad"The technology might have changed and everything has become much faster but basically all the issues are the same as when I started, the technology changes but people stay the same.
"It has been my privilege to be able to help and advise the very many members of the public who call in from all over Adur and Worthing, every day, for the past 30 years."
Olive met her husband Hugh Mulloy not long after shed started working for Worthing Borough Council 30 years ago. Hugh still works as a porter at Worthing Town Hall.
Customer services manager Dominic O'Brien said: "We are going to miss Olive terribly. She has been an absolute stalwart at the contact centre and has been on the phones all this time, helping and advising with patience, consideration and great knowledge."

Hide AdSpeaking on behalf of the councils' chief executive and its leadership team, Jane Eckford, director for customer service, also expressed her thanks.
She said: "We wish Olive our very best for a well deserved and happy retirement."
