Council staff dress in red
COUNCIL staff dressed head-to-toe in red to show their support for the British Heart Foundation (BHF) last Friday.
Adur and Worthing councils teamed up with the BHF when they were awarded with a ‘Hearty Lives’ project. The project works with specific target groups to educate them on how to keep their hearts strong and healthy. The three-year funded project has worked with more than 3,500 people so far.
Tammy Waine, Adur and Worthing Councils’ active communities officer, said: “I am really proud of the enthusiasm that everyone at the council showed to wear red on the day. We have raised a lot of money to help fight for every heartbeat.”
