Is Horsham town centre crime on the rise?
Tim Tebbutt and Heather Dyer say they have endured sleepless nights because of anti-social behaviour, drug dealings and free running in the Middle Street and Market Square area, where they live.
“It’s like Jekyll and Hyde,” said Tim, 60, “during the day it’s a lovely market town but at night, it’s horrendous.”
He said in 59 years he had only dialled 999 twice.

Despite a number of police interventions the couple feel like the situation has become worse over time.
Tim is interested in launching his own Neighbourhood Watch committee for the area and would like to hear from nearby residents if they have concerns.
He continued: “There must be other people in the area who have a problem with the noise from the pubs, the drunks, the anti-social behaviour.

Heather added: “We’re not in a ghetto - we’re talking about Horsham.”
