Cyclist who died after crash is named
He was Paul Novak, 50, of West Hill Road, St Leonards.
Mr Novak and the car, a red Fiat Punto, were both travelling south when the collision occurred. Police closed the A21 between Northbridge Roundabout and George Hill, Robertsbridge, for six hours while the incident was dealt with.
The car failed to stop but was eventually found some five miles from the scene in Marley Lane, Battle.

Hide AdA 60-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving and causing death by dangerous or careless driving. She has been bailed to attend Hastings Police Station on February 2, 2014, while enquiries continue.
Sergeant Daniel Pitcher, of Sussex Police, said: “This incident is still being investigated and we would like to hear from any witnesses who have not yet come forward.
“We would also like to talk to anyone who saw a damaged red Fiat Punto being driven south on the A21 or Marley Lane, Battle, after 4.30pm on Monday, 18 November. They are asked to phone Sussex Police on 101, quoting Operation Jutland, or email [email protected].”
