Don Lock’s funeral procession leaves mourners emotional
Hundreds of cyclists, friends and those simply wishing to pay their final respects to Mr Lock joined the procession from Broadwater Green to Worthing Crematorium.
About 800 people gathered at the crematorium for Mr Lock’s funeral.

Hide AdAnd as the cortege made its way north from Worthing, Herald readers were left touched by the outpouring of sympathy from the community towards Mr Lock’s devastated family.
Many have taken to social media to pay their own tributes.
Speaking on the Herald’s Facebook page, Annette Holdaway said it was ‘an amazing sight, nothing more than he and his family deserve. Respect to all’.
Jill Haynes was also touched by the procession. She said: “I watched from the side of the road in Findon Valley. R.I.P Don Lock a very sad day but was glad to pay my respects to you and the family.”
Kerrie Hopkins also extended her sympathies, saying: “Thoughts with family and friends especially today.”
