Electrical fault causes major delays
The problems began at around 7am when a metal conductor pot overheated in the Mountfield Tunnel.
This caused electrical supply problems and trains were unable to run between Hastings and Tonbridge.
Replacement bus services were put in place.

Hide AdNetwork Rail were called to the scene and gave the all clear for trains to start running again at around 9am.
A spokesperson for Southeastern said: “There were significant delays as a result.
“Southern were accepting tickets for some journeys.”
Earlier this morning, passengers took to Twitter to vent their frustrations at the delays.
One commuter travelling from Battle Tweeted: “Stuck at the station for 40 minutes now. Think we’d get a bit more of an update than “I don’t know” from train crew.”
