“He stopped his vehicle and was able to pick up the fox cub and put it in his vehicle.”
The founder of the wildlife rescue organisation said the cub was very sedate, dazed and concussed with it believed the animal was hit by a vehicle.
Mr Weeks said, “The fox cub was admitted, checked over and given emergency medication and bedded down for the night.

“East Sussex WRAS is currently only able to attend genuine emergency calls which members of the public can’t be expected to deal with or handle overnight, due to limited out of hours resources and covid restrictions.”
According to Mr Weeks the fox is currently doing alright but is still clearly injured.
In March Eastbourne residents were urged to keep an eye out for abandoned fox cubs.
