Facebook page launched as part of Operation Accent
The Operacja Akcent - Operation Accent - Facebook account, which was launched on July 2, already has more than 100 ‘friends’.
Sergeant Rachel Glenton, who heads the Operation Accent community team, said: “Within Bognor there is a large population of Polish people and the vast majority of them do not know how to contact police, either as a witness or a victim.

“It’s not just about overcoming the language barrier - although this is, of course, extremely important - but also about building trust between our Polish residents and the police.
“This isn’t going to provide instant success, but is one of just a number of ways we are trying to reach into the community and work with them to reduce crime and vulnerability.”
As well as explaining how to report a crime, visitors can also find out about incidents that have occurred together with details of how to contact the police.
