Festival for beer lovers in Brighton and Hove
The city will host more than 60 events across 30 plus venues from Friday, August 24 to Sunday, September 2.
Organisers promise there won’t be a wristband, token, lanyard or central beer tent in sight, just good beer all round.

Hide AdEmma Inch, founder, award-winning beer writer and broadcaster, said: “We have some world class breweries both in Brighton and Hove and across Sussex, and some wonderful beer venues throughout the city.
“I hope Brighton & Hove Beer Week will encourage people – even those who don’t normally drink beer – to try something a little bit different.”
According to a recent study, there are an estimated 6.4 breweries per 100,000 people in East Sussex, compared to 0.4 breweries per 100,000 people in London.
Award-winning Sussex brewery Burning Sky will be celebrating its fifth birthday alongside 20 of the UK’s best brewers at The Prince Albert pub from August 30.

For £16, punters will be able to enjoy a full English breakfast, beer and conversation with local brewers Cloak & Dagger, Good Things Brewing Co. and Hand Brew Co.
Or for an evening fix of beer injected nourishment, The Brunswick in Hove will be serving A Very Beery Menu all week.
Just as the name suggests, every dish on the special Sussex Eats kitchen menu will be cooked using a Sussex beer.

For £5 people will be able to embark on a five-minute mini puzzle, solving a series of beer-related questions to unlock an alcoholic prize.
There will also be the option to sip a pint or two at the highest point on Brighton’s coast.
The Sky-High Beer Tasting event will serve Harvey’s in the i360 while head brewer Miles Jenner leads a tutored tasting of some of Sussex’s best ales.
Tickets cost £20 and should be booked in advance.
