“A picnic lunch was followed by visiting the animals, with lots of animal handling. Last of all, there was time in the gift shop before the parents arrived to take their very tired and slighty damp children home.”
The children were excited as they arrived clutching sleeping bags and teddy bears, and were welcomed by owner Tim Rollings.
Evening games included a pillow fight before hot chocolate was served with a bedtime story.

Full English breakfast was cooked by the farm’s catering staff, who had arrived specially early, and give the Beavers fuel for their fun day ahead.
On Sunday, the Beavers joined the rest of the group at St Peter’s Church, Upper Beeding, for the Remembrance Day service. Some Scouts read prayers and others carried the section flags.
