Flood forced Littlehampton café to close on busiest day
THE owner of a café on the estate was left with hundreds of pounds worth of destroyed stock and several broken freezers after the waters flooded her business.
Joanna Emblen, who owns Frankie’s Snack Bar at the front of Riverside Industrial Estate, had to close for the whole of Friday – her busiest day of the week.
She estimated the damage, lost trade and stock to be worth between £2,000 and £2,500.
