Explained Worthing and District Scout Commissioner Judy Marshall say: "It is such a big district that it is difficult to find a venue big enough to take us all. In the intervening years since 2002, groups held individual services at local churches, but the centenary was an ideal opportunity to have another major parade.
" There was an excellent turnout this year with more than 900 from a total of 1,250 turning out to take part, which was an excellent percentage."
