Four pets killed in Littlehampton inferno
FOUR pets were killed in a kitchen blaze which gutted a house in Littlehampton yesterday (Tuesday, April 15).
Two fire crews from Littlehampton were called to Ash Close, shortly before noon.
Upon their arrival, smoke was seen billowing from the kitchen window of the terrace property.

Hide AdFirefighters, armed with breathing apparatuses and high-pressure water hoses fought for more than two hours to quell the inferno, which completely wrecked the kitchen and caused extensive smoke damage to the rest of the property.
Officers managed to removed four animals – three dogs and a cat – from the ablaze building.
But all the pets died at the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
