Get ready for the biggest of all weekends
The two-day event, organised by the Battel Bonfire Boyes, gets off to lively start tonight (Friday) with a barn dance in a marquee on the recreation ground in North Trade Road.
The fun kicks off at 7pm, with tickets available on the door.

Hide AdThe return of the third annual Battle Carnival on Saturday will see a vibrant and colourful procession winding its way from the recreation ground to the Abbey Green at 11am.
The procession will then return to the rec for the ever-popular summer fayre, which will see a host of traditional stalls, games and demonstrations, plus an extensive craft fayre in the marquee.
There will also be a chance for man’s best friend to get in on the action with the dog show.
There is no need to book, just turn up on the day with your furry friend and register ready for judging at 12.30pm.
There are several classes and each costs just £1 to enter.

Hide AdAnd Battle’s Big Weekend will go out with a bang on Saturday night, with a night of live music under the cover of the marquee. Acts include the 1066 Rockitmen.
