YOUNGSTERS met ambulance paramedics and firefighters at a fun Peacehaven safety event.
Children aged four to 14 were bandaged by a Sussex Ambulance crew and allowed to climb in to the Newhaven fire engine at the event in Trafalgar Close, organised by the Peacehaven Safe Place Scheme. Activities also featured a hazard hunt and cycle safety lessons.

'The kids absolutely loved it. They all got a free cream egg and a ticket to a disco at Meridian School.'
The event was funded with a 300 grant from Peacehaven Town Council.
