Health revamp kicked upstairs
THE future of West Sussex healthcare services is being put in the hands of a Government minister following a decision at a meeting in Chichester last week.
Sweeping changes proposed by the county's Primary Care Trust are to be referred direct to Health Secretary Alan Johnson.
They were condemned as 'catastrophic' and ' disastrous' during the County Hall meeting.
Mr Johnson has the power to order an inquiry by an independent revue panel.
