Helping hand for smoking quitters
The Arun Wellbeing Team is encouraging smokers to kick the habit ahead of No Smoking Day next Wednesday (March 14).
Those who make the commitment to give up can get free or discounted sessions at the gym, swimming pool or exercise classes and one-to-one advice from a wellbeing adviser.

“Offering free or discounted exercise sessions is a great way to help them overcome those fears.
“With the added bonus of free one-to-one advice from our advisers there is no reason for smokers to feel that they don’t have the support they need to give up.”
After 24 hours of stopping smoking your lungs begin to clear and after three days you can breathe more easily and your energy levels rise.
