Hollenden House to close in July
The trustees of the Ex-Service Fellowship Centres made their decision on the threatened home on Thursday with the greatest regret, said the charity's administrator Maurice O'Dea.
Only 22 residents remain in the 65-bed home, cared for by 31 staff.

He said that despite strenuous efforts to fill available spaces, it had not been possible to attract enough residents to make the home viable.
The adjoining Whitworth House rented flats are unaffected by the decision.
No decision has been made about the future of the Buckhurst Road site.
