i360 out of action for another day
The ride has been closed to the public since Saturday evening (March 25), after it became stuck for more than an hour - with visitors on board.
Bosses at the Brighton seafront attraction said the closure was down to ‘a temporary fault that technicians are investigating’.

Hide AdA spokesperson said: ““British Airways i360 will be closed tomorrow (Tuesday) while technicians continue investigations and checks.
“We are contacting customers who have pre-booked tickets and offering them the opportunity to return within three months or claim a refund.
“We would like to thank our customers for their patience and apologise for any inconvenience this causes.”
This isn’t the first time the ride has closed unexpectedly since it opened in August last year.

Hide AdIt closed for several days after the pod got stuck on February 27, leaving visitors stranded for around an hour. On this occasion the fault was down to a damaged data ribbon.
And the attraction came into trouble in September last year, when it became stuck on two occasions, both times with visitors on board. It closed for several days to fix the ‘technical issue’.
