GENERAL DIARY DATES: The usual midsummer quiet sets into this column but there are a few dates for you. We shall report next week on anything of major import from this week’s Village Hall Committee AGM. The next Parish Council meeting will be on Tuesday July 12th. This Sunday (July 3rd). The weather forecast is kind. And the Annual Flower Show on Saturday July 30th Village Hall. As we say, short and sweet this week during the dog days of summers. But those days can be pretty hard-working too: we’ve now taken over 400 ticks off our three dogs so far this year and look to be heading for a new record since we started keeping records in 2011. We agree that it’s always a pleasure to see the deer locally but…
