New evidence over Janet Muller's death will be heard
An inquest into 21-year-old Janet Muller’s death will reopen after Christopher Jeffrey-Shaw was found guilty of the Eastbourne student’s manslaughter in February, a coroner’s court sitting at County Hall North, Horsham decided on Friday (May 6).
West Sussex Coroner’s Officer Geoff Charnock said the inquest was suspended during his trial. It will start at a date to be decided at a hearing on July 28.

Hide AdGuildford Crown Court heard the body of the German national and University of Brighton student, who had been beaten, was found in the boot of a burnt-out Volkswagen Jetta, which was dumped in a road by Ifield Golf Club, Crawley on March 13 2015.
Jeffrey-Shaw, 27, of Beckenham, London, was jailed for 17 years after being found guilty of her manslaughter, but cleared of the alternative charge of her murder.
