The opening ceremony took place on Saturday, April 16, where new owners Ragin and Roshni Patel welcomed people into their new-look store.
Ragin Patel said: “This was an exciting new challenge, we recognised this store needed modernisation and with the support of the community we invested the money to provide a store to suit the community and also the post office.
“A small part of all the profits from this store will be invested back into the community which we are really pleased about.
“We look forward to meeting all customers old and new.

“Ragin and Roshni Patel have invested a considerable sum of money to upgraded their shop and post office to a very high standard.
This well-stocked and beautifully fitted out new shop will be welcome to Bersted residents and I wish the Patels the success they deserve.”
