Hide AdFirst, you can save battery by turning off the parallex effect. This is the in-built feature that allows you to tilt your phone and the wallpaper will move with it. While being very clever, it is also very demanding on your phone’s energy. To turn it off go to ‘Settings’, ‘General’ then ‘Accessibility’ and move the slider on Reduce Motion to ‘on’.
Other big battery drainers are 4G, GPS, wifi and Bluetooth. Do you really need all of them on 24 hours a day? It is better to switch them off until you need to use one of them.
Another simple step that will dramatically increase your phone’s battery life is to change the screen’s brightness.
You can do this by switching the Auto-Brightness mode ‘on’ in the ‘Wallpapers & Brightness’ section in ‘Settings’. This will then automatically dim or brighten your screen.
