LETTER: Concern for wellbeing

However since moving here I join many in feeling disappointed with some of the decisions that have been proposed or acted upon.
For example, building massive developments with no promised extension of schools or GP surgeries. In addition, proposing to build another massive development with a school across a busy dual carriageway without a bridge or underpass and an incinerator beside it.

Hide AdWhilst I empathise that tough decisions need to be made, the residents’ health and well-being should be of upmost concern and I feel that this is being overlooked.
I take heart from the many people who are voicing their concerns over these issues and so whilst I’d rather be sitting in a darkened room drinking gin when the children have gone to bed instead I will now try to become more involved in researching the decisions being made for the town and will encourage others to do so.
