Crazy Kate to walk 62 miles in one day
The event is called ‘The London To Brighton Challenge’ and takes place on the 24th May, starting at Richmond Park and finishing at Brighton Racecourse.
Kate’s aim is to raise enough money for Ripple Africa (www.rippleafrica.org) to buy 100 families a new, safe ‘Changu Changu Moto Stove’ and improve the quality of life for Malawian families.

Hide AdDid you know that a mother in Malawi can walk for 20 hours or more a week just to collect enough wood for their cook stoves to feed their family? When they get back, having carried back breaking amounts of wood, their children often suffer burns from these stoves and serious smoke inhalation problems.... And this is all in a community which shares 1 nurse to 18,000 people!
Kate commented: “We really need your support and inspiration to keep going and make that finish line, so please please please donate anything you can, as the more we raise the better! Thank you hugely in advance for all who donate. I really appreciate it and promise to complete the challenge as fast as I possibly can!”
