Discussion brings back memories...
This meeting was part of a public protest against West Sussex County Council’s intention to ban right turns into Langbury Lane by eastbound traffic on the A259.
The county council’s argument was on safety grounds, and the fact that such a turn (with traffic lights) would slow down traffic along the main road!

They then have a choice of returning for another mile along the westbound carriageway of the A259, or of turning down past Goring railway station and then taking Goring Way back to Ferring – an extra two miles in total!
If the ASDA proposal is allowed, will the county council then re-time the traffic lights at Langbury Lane and allow the former logical right turn?
